HALF-DAY PERFORMING ARTS (4 to 6 years old)

Mon-Fri 9:00am-12:00pm
June 18-29 and August 6-17
$200 for one week/$175 for each additional week

This half day program explores ballet, theater dance, and voice with a structured but developmentally-appropriate approach.

class1FULL-DAY PERFORMING ARTS (6 to 10 years old)

Mon-Fri 9:00am-3:00pm
June 18-29 and August 6-17
$325 for one week/$275 for each additional week

This full day program’s curriculum includes a Pilates-based stretch and strengthening class, ballet, theater dance, voice, modern, and a student-inspired choreography class. This program is a great way for beginner and intermediate dancers to learn and polish basic technique as well as explore new genres.

INTERMEDIATE INTENSIVE

Ballet IIIA, IIIB, IV - 4 weeks: must sign up for at least 2 weeks
Mon-Fri 9:00am-3:00pm
June 18-July 13
Students must have at least 2 years of ballet to be eligible
$300 per week

This program is designed for serious intermediate young dancers. Students train nearly 30 hours per week. They will have Pilates and a two-hour ballet technique class each morning. In addition, they will be introduced to various other genres including modern and theater. Students will study ballet terminology and learn and rehearse choreography that will culminate in an in-studio performance at the end of the program. This program is an excellent opportunity for intermediate students to refine their technique and develop strength.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED INTENSIVE (13+ years old)

Ballet IVA, IVB, V - 2 weeks
Mon-Fri 9:00am-3:00pm
August 6-17
Students must have at least 2 years of ballet to be eligible
$300 per week

This intensive is designed so intermediate and advanced dancers can really examine and perfect their ballet technique while they also explore their versatility as artists. The curriculum includes a daily Pilates mat class, two-hour ballet technique class, pointe, modern, and specialty subject workshops (previous topics have included: stage make-up, yoga, dance history, ballet terminology, and nutrition).

THEATER PERFORMANCE PROGRAM (6-12 years old)

Led by Jennifer Lameo, the Director of the Theater Dance Program at PDA
Mon-Fri 9:30am-3:00pm (please drop-off no earlier than 9:00am)
July 16-20
$325 for the week

Students will enjoy learning the hands-on experience and thrill of putting on a show! They will learn both onstage and offstage skills and technique, while having fun and creating great friendships. This week's theme will be Alice in Wonderland.
 
The week will begin with the assigning of ensemble roles for younger students as well as an audition for speaking roles for older students. Activities will include: Singing, Dancing, Acting, Set Design, Prop Making, Theater Etiquette and Theater Games. The week will culminate with an in-studio performance showcasing the hard work, creativity, and newly discovered talents of the students!
